Translate a post and have the translated featured image set as featured image in the translated post.

3. Featured images are being translated and can be seen in media translations, they are just not set as featured imaged

2. Please try the following steps and check if the issue is resolved:
- Edit the post in the original language
- Select the Media attachments translation options (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
- Update the post
- Click on the "Pencil" icon and update the translation (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
3. If the issue persists, please create a full backup then go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation > Click on the Start button (With all the available options checked).
Also - when saving post we get the following log errors:

- To best troubleshoot the issue, kindly create a copy of your site and provide a link to download it. You can use the Duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/)
The plugin will create a package file that you can download then upload again to Google Drive or Dropbox and share the download link in the next reply which I have marked as private. Then I’ll escalate this issue to our developers for further investigation.
It is hard to tell what is causing this issue without further investigation, so I suggest trying the following:
1. I have created this clean sandbox setup on our servers here: hidden link (one-click login)
I would need you to please set up WPML + the WPML add-ons as you have them on your site (they are already installed) and try to recreate the issue with a new post.
Please don't install anything else like plugins that are not necessary, on a clean sandbox we try to use just the WPML plugins and the plugin/theme that's part of the issue.
If the issue is going to take place on this clean setup on our servers too, then I can forward this to our developers.
2. If the issue doesn't happen on the sandbox site then it could be a conflict with one of your plugins or the theme. Please check if it happens in a minimal environment by following these steps:
- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML (Keep String Translations enabled).
- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue.
