Hi, I'm trying to translate the widget titles and run into an Issue. Some of those titles are not translating.
But the strings are already added in the string translator(Please check the attached SS)
Yes, I know I can keep a separate widget for each language but I would like to know why this is happing and if there is any solution for this issue.

Hello,

If the widget translation with String Translation fails, then please try to create one widget per language for such widgets.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-widgets/#using-different-widgets-for-different-languages

In case this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas, As I explain in my ticket, yes it works. Can I know why this widget title isn't translating in the usual way and any fix for that issue?

Hello,

I am honestly unable to tell why it behaves like that but it is very likely related to how the widget was coded - the thing is, if one of the methods works, then you should stick with the working solution.

In some cases using String Translation for specific widgets simply does not work out, which is why we have added the method to assign one widget per language.

Also, sometimes I was able to fix the issue by searching strings of those widgets at WPML > String Translation > Translate texts in admin screens. This means, I had to search and register the strings a second time, and then suddenly it worked.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let me know if further assistance is needed.

Best regards
Andreas
