Background of the issue:
I want to modify the translated URL, changing the custom part. I am working on the site hidden link.

Symptoms:
After editing the page URL (custom part), an error occurred.
This is the error description:
WPML has detected a change in your site's URL. To continue translating your site, go to your WordPress Dashboard and tell WPML if your site has been moved or copied.
This is additional data:
{"url":"hidden link","requestArgs":{"method":"POST","body":{"ids":["137552848"]}},"status":426}

Questions:
How to fix the current error?
How can I modify the translated URL without causing an error?

I'm sorry, this error log and data is not from this time. Please ignore this information. But the problem I mentioned does exist.

Hi there,

The original URL was hidden link , what is the new URL ?

The reason this message is showing is because WPML associates your WPML Automatic Translation account as well as the Site Key Registration with your URL.

As I mentioned before, I didn't change the site URL, I only edited the custom part of a page URL. I changed it from hidden link to hidden link. After making the change, both pages cannot be opened.

I am not seeing any issues from our side.

Please go through the notification and mark it as "this is a copy" in order to remove the wartning and let me know your results.

Also, go to WPML->Translation Management->Automatic Translation/Translation Tools area and let me know if you are seeing your information and credits shown OK there.

You should have around 263,358 credits available.

Regarding the URL that is not opening, there is a redirect that takes it back to the JA version which no longer exists resulting to 404.

Is this a taxonomy page by any chance?

What are your results if you revert the URL back to the JA version?

Thank you for your patient answers. Regarding the assumptions you raised, here is the situation on my end:

Please go through the notification and mark it as "this is a copy" in order to remove the wartning and let me know your results.

>>Where do I perform this step?

------

Also, go to WPML->Translation Management->Automatic Translation/Translation Tools area and let me know if you are seeing your information and credits shown OK there.

>>There are 263,358 credits remaining.

------

Regarding the URL that is not opening, there is a redirect that takes it back to the JA version which no longer exists resulting to 404.

>>How can I cancel the redirect? I would like to use the modified URL.

------

Is this a taxonomy page by any chance?

>>This is not a taxonomy page, this is a regular page.

------

What are your results if you revert the URL back to the JA version?

>>I forgot the original Japanese URL. Using this page, reverting to Japanese is accessible: hidden link. However, I still hope to uniformly use English URLs and be able to modify them.
