Background of the issue:
I am trying to create a page in English and translate it into Bulgarian. I have to edit some text on the Bulgarian version using the frontend editor due to my theme. I want to disable the automatic translation function because I need to edit the words and sentences on the front end. I have set the Translation Mode to 'Translate what you choose'. Here is the link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
The changes I made on the Bulgarian page reverted to the version translated by the WPML Translator after a few days.

Questions:
How can I disable the automatic translation function?
Why are my manual edits on the Bulgarian page being overwritten?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will try to answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

You selected the correct option to translate what you choose. The next step is to go to the advanced translation editor when you edit or add a new page.

You will see that the page is translated automatically in the translation, editor.

But if you check it on the top button, you can undo the translation.

Then a pop-up will show and ask you if you want to stop the auto-translation when you check the advanced translation editor.

You can choose whether you want to stop the automatic translation there for the whole website or this specific page.

Thank you.
