Background of the issue:
I am planning to reinstall WordPress because the current theme has issues. I will assign the domain to the newly installed folder. The domain name will remain the same. Before doing so, I want to deactivate the WPML license key from the existing site.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
How can I deactivate the WPML license key from the existing site?

Hello,

To unregister WPML from your current site, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial > Unregister WPML in your site's backend.

If you haven’t unregistered it yet, you can still use the key you generated at this link (https://wpml.org/account/sites) for your new site, provided you are using the same domain.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Best regards,
Mihai Apetrei
