Background of the issue:
I am using the Houzez template on my site hidden link. I am trying to see the features/filters in the search bar on the front page in the Russian translations.

Symptoms:
In the Russian translations on the site, I cannot see the features/filters in the search bar on the front page.

Questions:
Why can't I see the features/filters in the search bar on the front page in the Russian translations?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum.

Could you please give me more details about this search bar?
- How did you implemented it in the original language?
- Is it part of a page template?
- Is it an option selected in the theme options?
- Is it a shortcode?

Could you please share screenshots or even better a short video showing me where and how it has been inserted? It will help me understand the configuration and how we can translate it into Russian.

Hi again,

If you open our website front page you will see Advanced search under slider. If you change language from top right corner. You cant see the search. I tried translate everything in WPML but still it is not working. But it is writing %100 compatible houzez template and WPML.

Hello,

I’ve noticed the issue on the frontend, but as I mentioned, I’ll need more details about how the search bar was added in the original language in order to understand how to translate it.

Could you please provide temporary admin access so I can investigate this directly? I’ve enabled a private field for your next reply where you can safely share the details. This field is only visible to you and the support team.

Please create a new admin account for this purpose and remove it once we’ve completed the troubleshooting. Do not share your personal admin credentials.

Important: Before proceeding, ensure you have backed up your site and database.

Hello,

It looks like the username is missing from the credentials you provided, so I’m unable to access your backend. I’ll reactivate the private field so you can update the information.

Hello,

Thank you for providing access. Could you please confirm that the search bar is activated by going in "Themes Options > Searches > Search Pages > Only Homepage"?

If that the case, I couldn't find a way to have the search bar displayed on the secondary languages.

At this point, I would recommend to contact the theme author and report the issue as they already work on the compatibility with WPML, they may have a quick solution.

Else I can try to escalate the issue, but for that you need to reproduce it on our servers. I have created this clean sandbox setup on our servers here:
hidden link (one click login)

- I would need you to set up WPML + the WPML add-ons as you have them on your site (they are already installed) and to also install the Houzez theme and try to recreate the issue.

Please don't install any other plugins that are not necessary to reproduce the issue.

- If the issue is reproduced on that clean setup, then I can forward this to our 2nd tier support team.
