I am trying to:
Hi,

I'm building a website with Elementor Pro + Jet Engine.
I installed WPML after the French version was made, and everything was OK.
Then I had to add some new Custom Fields, and the problem is that the new Custom Fields are not added to Settings -> Custom Fields Translation, so I can't translate them !
(Note that I tried to add some other Custom Fields for testing purpose, but they weren't added in any case.)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
The website is not officially online, so I would need to give you the front-end credential if you want to see it.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support! I will be happy to help you here.

Can you please try creating a post/page with those custom fields filled with some dummy data then go to WPML -> Settings and see if those fields are now available there. If you still cannot find those fields please try searching for the field name from the search icon and see if it works.

If the issue persist, I will need to take a closer look at your site. I have enabled a private reply for you so that you can share the access credentials. Please make sure to backup the site completely first to prevent any issues.

Regards,
Subash

Hi Subash,

Thanks a lot, it works perfectly like that !
I didn't know and I'm surprised that a new post has to be created to make the new custom fields appear in Settings -> Custom Field Translation, instead of being created by the creation of the Custom Field itself !

Another question a little bit off topic:
I've created Custom Fields that I don't need anymore. Is there a way to make them disappear from Settings -> Custom Field Translation ? I've been looking for that too without success.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Thank you for confirming that the original issue reported is now resolved.

Please note we try to handle only one issue per ticket to keep better track of issues and stay on the same page so please mark this ticket s resolved.

Regarding the deletion of Custom Fields from WPML -> Settings -> Custom Field Translations, the option shows Custom Fields that exists on the site contents and custom fields from there cannot be removed. The field will be auto removed if none of your posts have that data.

Regards,
Subash
