This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to display a linked post in other languages on their website using Divi layouts and the DiviFlash plugin. The expected translated posts are not showing.
Solution:
1. Ensure that the Divi layout used to create the page is translated:
- Navigate to WPML > Translation Management.
- Locate the Divi layout in question.
- Select it and send it for translation at the bottom of the page.
- Proceed to WPML > Translations and complete the translation.
2. If the translated post still does not display, check the compatibility of the DiviFlash plugin with WPML. The Posts List widget used by DiviFlash is currently not compatible with WPML. We recommend contacting the DiviFlash developers to encourage them to make their plugin compatible with WPML. They can apply for assistance through our Go Global program.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the information provided here is outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the linked post also in the other languages. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
I expected to see the translated post in all languages, but instead, I got nothing.

Questions:
Why is the translated post not showing in all languages?
How can I ensure the linked post displays correctly in other languages?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. If you used Divi layouts to create that page please make sure that the layout is also translated.

- Go to WPML > Translation Management
- Find the Divi layout in question.
- Select it and at the bottom of the page send it for translation.
- Go to WPML > Translations and take it and translate it.

If the issue persists, it might be related to the post listing item you use.

Go to the page in question in WordPress editor, from the top language switcher switch the language to secondary one. If you see a pop up select go anyway.

Go to Divi and manually select the post in the translation in Divi.

It is not recommended but it seems it will be the only way

Thanks.

Hi Christopher,

thanks for your reply.

I checked it but the post and the page are completely translated and WPML also shows a green check.

I cannot switch to a secondary language and edit because we are using root domains (hunterlab.de, hunterlab.fr and so on) so the backend does not work with the foreign languages

Hi,

Thanks, It might be a problem with the compatibility with the widget in Divi you used. But needs to be checked, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Hi,

Thank you for the login information. I found out that the section you mentioned was created by a third party plugin called DiviFlash.

That plug-in at additional Divi widgets. The widget that is used on that specific section of the page is called: Posts List.

That specific widget and the plug-in itself is not compatible with WPML.

You will need to contact the developers of that plug-in and encourage them to make their plug-in compatible with WPML, they can apply for help in our go global program measure below:

https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/

Thanks.

Hi Christopher,

thanks for your reply.

I contacted Divi Flash but they ensured me that theier plugin is compatible with WPML.

I sent them a login so they can dig into the problem as well and I'll keep you up to date.

Best regards,
Stefano

Hi Christopher,

DiviFlash could solve the problem on their end.

Now everything looks good.

Thanks again for your help!

Best regards,
Stefano
