1) I use the hyperlink to link the other pages
2) I use the automated translation
When I use the hyperlink in the sentence - in the original language - all is fine, but in the translated page - I can see, that the word or characters where I use the hyperlink, are put on the next line - it seems like line break is there applied.
I can show you an example from the live environment:
This is original text: hidden link
This is translated text hidden link
I need to manually edit the translated text - usually delete the automatically translated part and do it manually via the editor - then it will display correctly.
It happens to me only with automated translated texts with hyperlinks.
I've checked and it looks like the issue is caused by some padding on the menu items. Due to the insufficient space, it pushes the menu item down hence breaking it.
Please try inserting the custom CSS code below into WP > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and see if it fixes it.
I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed
Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
Also, I checked your debug information, I noticed that your MySQL version is below the plugin minimum requirements as described at: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/ . Kindly contact your hosting provider and ask them to update the MySQL version to 5.6+ for you.
I've checked and it looks like there is a white space after the "ahref" link tag as shown in the attached screenshot. I've removed it and the issue is fixed. hidden link
yes, now it seems to be fixed. As I mentioned, this issue happens when I do automatic translation - so I think, that there you have some issue in the code that in a such case will add this free space there. Can you, please, inform your developers of this issue? I think it is easily reproducible.
I cannot find any other pages with the issue that you encountered in your staging site. hidden link . Could you maybe list the steps to replicate it so that I could show this to our 2nd Tier Support?
Thanks!
