Yes, the internal links in the Gutenberg block should be adjusted automatically by WPML. The issue occurs because the Site URL and Home URL in the general settings are http, not https as the page URL, please check the screenshot attached.
There is a code in the file wp-config.php that defines the Site URL and Home URL, I changed it to https then re-saved the page in the English language. Now you can see the internal links are adjusted correctly.

Yes, you can re-save pages/posts in English language, not in Dutch. The issue is fixed on the Oman page. Except for the first link, it is a redirection:

you can update the correct link on the page in English language and recheck this.

However, for the moement, it really varies a lot in the treatment. Do I have to wait and everything will fall into place?
For example I re-saved my page Iceland in Winter: hidden link
For NL, the images are changed but the links still lead to English articles
However for IT, the images are still the English ones but the links do lead to italien articles...

I just edit the page in English > Click on Update and the internal links are adjusted in the Dutch language as well. There is no change with the translation process or content, just save the page in the original language English. You can also update pages/posts in bulk, Please check screenshots attached.

As I told you I had updated / re-saved the page in English already... That was not the problem. That is pretty basic.
Now with the page that has been re-saved:
- when I open the NL version of the page, the images are all the translated ones, but when I click on links, it sends to english website.
- and when I open the italian version of the page, the images are not the translated ones, but the links do redirect to the right language in itlaian.
Can you please recheck the issue on this page hidden link?
I just re-save the page in English again and the links in the Dutch language work properly, as you can see in my screenshot above. Maybe the internal links were not adjusted completely at that time or a caching issue on your end.
