This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to auto-translate products using WPML and encountering an error message indicating insufficient credits, despite having a valid credit card linked to your account.
Solution:
The issue arises because you may have reached the safety limit for translations set by WPML. There are two thresholds: €100 and €4,000 in a single month. Once these limits are reached, you need to pay upfront to continue. The prepaid amount will be deducted from your total monthly invoice.
To resolve this, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to a page or post with a lot of untranslated content.
2. Click the "+" icon to add a translation.
3. In the Automatic Translation Editor (ATE), if you exceed the safety limit, a "Not enough credits" message will appear with a link to "Get more credits."
4. Click this link to make a payment and unlock further translations.
For more details, refer to the WPML’s terms and conditions.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to auto translate products using WPML. The payment mode is set to pay as you go, and a valid credit card is linked to my account.

Symptoms:
I am receiving an error message: 'Sie haben nicht genug Guthaben, um Ihre Inhalte automatisch zu übersetzen. Guthaben kaufen' (You do not have enough credit to automatically translate your content.)

Questions:
Why am I receiving a credit error despite having a valid credit card linked?
How can I resolve the credit issue to proceed with automatic translation?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

It seems you may have reached the safety limit for translations. There are two thresholds that trigger this:

1. When you first spend €100.
2. When you reach €4,000 in a single month.

Once you hit either of these limits, you'll be required to pay upfront before continuing with your translations. The amount you prepay will be deducted from your total invoice at the end of the month.

For more details, you can refer to WPML’s official terms here: https://wpml.org/home/terms-and-conditions/#pay-as-you-go-for-automatic-translation.

If you try to translate content without enough credits, you should see a “Get more credits” link in the Automatic Translation Editor (ATE). Clicking this link will redirect you to the payment options.

To trigger the payment prompt and continue translating, please follow these steps:

1. Go to a page or post that has a lot of untranslated content.
2. Click the "+" icon to add a translation.
3. In ATE, if you exceed the safety limit, you will see a "Not enough credits" message along with a link to "Get more credits."
4. Click that link to make a payment, which will unlock further translations.
