This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Some pages are not updating their translation status.
Solution:
First, ensure you are using the latest version of WPML and update if necessary, including any WPML addon plugins. Then, follow these steps:
1. Go to WP-Admin -> WPML -> Translation Management -> Jobs and cancel the job for the pages you're having issues with.
2. Navigate to WP-Admin -> WPML -> Translations and click on "Resign" for the problematic pages.
3. Edit the primary language page by making a small change to the title (e.g., adding a "+" sign). Then, attempt to edit the secondary language page.
* Note: Please ensure you have a full backup of your website before making any updates or changes to prevent potential data loss.

If the solution provided here is not relevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Most of the site is automatically translated, however there are a few pages which remain stuck at updating the translation status.

Is there a way to reset the statusses?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.

- From the debug info you provided, I noticed that you are using WPML v4.6.7, I suggest you update to the latest version (v4.6.9, Including WPLM addon plugins that might need updating).

- Regarding the translated page being stuck on "refreshing translation status", here is what you can try and see if it helps.

- go to WP-Admin-> WPML -> Translation Management -> Jobs -> Cancel the job for the page/s that you're having issues translating.

- Navigate to WP-Admin-> WPML -> Translations -> Click on "Resign" to the page you're having issues translating.

- Edit the primary language page and make small edits to the title (ex: add a "+" sign). Then, try editing the "secondary language" page and see if it works.

* Note: Please make sure you have a full backup of your website before making any updates/changes on your website to prevent any possible data loss.

Let me know how it goes,
Marsel

Hi Marsel,

Thanks for the quick response! That worked perfectly!

However we're running into a new issue where changes made within an Elementor button, for example the link, it's not registered in translation editor. It remains at an older previous link.

Is there a way to clear the translation cache or re-index the translations?
