I am trying to:

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
We have discovered an issue which I think is a WPML bug. It's on the same website as I wrote you about yesterday (for another division) and that you already have access to.

I'll try to explain as clearly as possible:

* We have a nr. of custom page attributes such as parallax image and menu level on the screenshot below:

* When using the Overwrite with English content button, these custom attributes get populated with the values from the English version of this page. So all good.

* However, when using the Copy content from English button, these attributes get ignore and are not populated.

Is there any reason why this doesn't work when using the Copy function, but it does work when using the Overwrite function? Or is this a defect in WPML as I suspect?
I expected to see:

Instead, I got:

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

The page attributes, such as the Parallax image, are saved in the database as custom fields, not in the page/post content. The "Overwrite with English content" button copies everything, including the content and the custom fields. While the "Copy content from English" button, as it says, only copies the page/post content and does not touch the custom fields.

Hope that explains the difference between the two functions.
