Problem:
The client's custom links in the primary menu were not updating even after attempting synchronization.
Solution:
1. We ensured that the translation of custom links was completed from the WPML >> String Translation page. For more details, see the documentation on Translating Menus.
2. We then navigated to the WPML >> WP Menu Sync page, selected the primary menu items, and pressed the 'Apply changes' button. After this, we pressed the 'Sync' button, which resolved the issue.
