Hi!

Until now I have had a language switcher in my "Choose category"-menu, which was shown as the off-canvas menu on mobile phones (I use Astra Pro theme). But I have removed the language switcher from the "Choose category"-menu. So how do I put the language switcher on the off-canvas menu without putting it on the "Choose category"-menu?

Here is my site: hidden link

I could give you debug information. But why?

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will try my best to assist you in this matter.

By default, the WPML language switcher can be placed on the Menu section, Footer, and Widget area of the site. But, Please be informed that you can place the WPML language Switcher anywhere on anywhere of your site using Shortcode.

If you have the flexibility to edit the Offcanvas, then place the Shortcode below inside the Offcanvas. The Language Switcher will start to appear inside the Offcanvas.

 [wpml_language_switcher]

If you want to customize the appearance of the Language switcher, you can do that from the "WPML > Languages > Custom Language Switcher" section. "Enable" the Custom Language Switcher first to see the options for customization.

More information about the custom language switcher are available here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/custom-language-switcher/#the-settings-part

Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

I decided to create a new menu (in all 3 languages) - that include the language switcher - and assign THAT menu to the off-canvas menu. It's kind of double work, but I am not sure how to use the shortcode solution.
