This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client reported a compatibility issue between the WPML SEO plugin and PHP 8, causing problems on their website. The hosting provider had temporarily switched back to PHP 7.4, but the client needed a solution to use PHP 8. Solution: 1. We requested temporary access to the site to investigate further, including wp-admin and FTP details, ensuring the client backed up their site first. 2. We suggested increasing the WP Memory Limit to 500M, providing a guide on how to do this: guide. 3. We asked the hosting provider to share any error logs related to the WPML SEO issue and to upgrade PHP to 8 on the staging site for further testing. 4. We resolved an issue with missing pages/posts when WPML was activated by running WPML troubleshooting actions and assigning the correct language, which made all pages visible again.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi,
I would like to offer to have a closer look into this ussye and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further.
The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up the site and database before granting us access.
If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.
I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further.
However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose.
If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.
If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

Regarding the WPML SEO plugin not working with PHP 8, please ask your hosting provider to share with us any error logs that they have pointing to WPML SEO being the issue.
Additionally, I recommend asking them to increase the PHP to 8 from 7.4 on the staging site so we can further investigate this issue as there are no known issues with WPML SEO not being compatible with PHP 8
As you're aware, my website is a multisite. While I don't encounter many issues on the main site, I’m experiencing problems, such as FOS Hair, where pages are disappearing. Eg: you can visit at the dashboard, (Theme Option → Elementor Header & footer Builder). here you will see when you deactivate WPML more pages will be visible and when you activate the pluggin again the pages are no longer visible.
FYI - I had to delete the staging site due to resource limitations on my hosting platform. However, you still have the same login credentials for the main website: hidden link.
Additionally, we have upgraded the main site from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.
I also noticed a conflict with WPML multicurrency and klarna payment. when a customer chooses eur as a payment option. the klarna payment button disappear. i have spoken to klarna and they said i should speak with you since you handle the currency pluggin
We try to keep each ticket to 1 issue, if possible please open a new thread regarding the latest issue with the currency.
Following your steps I went to (Theme Option → Elementor Header & footer Builder) in the live site and noticed that while there are 27 in total only 14 were showing (split between the languages).
After running the WPML troubleshooting actions (WPML->Support->Troubleshooting), specifically the one about assigning the correct language, the issue was resolved and now all 27 are showing.
