This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client restored a backup of a development site, and subsequently, the WPML's Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) began to malfunction. Initially, it worked briefly after clearing caches and re-adding the WPML site key, but then it failed with an 'AMS Server Communication - API error missing resource: No sitekey found for this website' error. Additionally, on some pages, the ATE does not load, and on others, it loads but does not complete the translation, showing a 'Service Unavailable' error.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Update the original page and save your changes.
2. Navigate to the WPML translation editor and check if the issue persists.
If these steps do not resolve the problem or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues continue, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
