Could you please confirm if the issue persists?

If so, please go to WPML > Support > ATE Error Log and send me a screenshot of the latest entries.

Please also verify at WPML > Support > Installer if WPML is registered correclty by clicking "Check now".

I suspect that the ATE ID is incorrect. You can see this ID at WPML > Support > Troubleshooting.

It would be good if I had a look at the site, compare the info with what we have on the system, and then fix the issue.

I'd like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further.

You'll find the necessary fields below the comment section if you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide will be private, meaning only you and I will be able to see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to create a backup of the website and database before granting us access.

If you don't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your login credentials for the post and website will be set to "PUBLIC." Do NOT publish the information unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

The website needs credits for automatic translation. Such credits can be pre-purchased at wpml.org, or you can subscribe to "Pay-As-You-Go" which will allow you to use credits instantly and then pay for the usage the next month.

i just bought the package. i would assume there are credits as shown here?

and obviously the error message could be a bit clearer... :-/

Your account was created on Since Jan/03/2016. The offer for free credits is only granted to new WPML subscriptions since July 2021, as WPML changed its pricing model back then and became more expensive.

Anyone with a valid subscription before WPML 4.5 kept their original renewal rates indefinitely, as long as they renewed on time.

Example: CMS renewals stayed at $59 for existing clients, instead of rising to $74.

so i removed the registration for the site/wpml both on the site itself as well as in my account, where it was shown.

after readding it, it seems account management does now recognize that i DO have credit for translations.
