Background of the issue:
I am experiencing issues with Spectra Pro / Astra Pro on my site hidden link. Global styles are not carried over when doing translations with WPML. This issue is evident with the Icon Box and some nested Spectra Image blocks, as well as the Yoast FAQ block. I have set a global style for the icon/info box, but it seems that the icon/info box without any global style is correctly carried over. I suspect it might be related to global styles within Spectra. I have checked all available support resources but could not find the following Spectra info in WPML custom fields: _uag_css_file_name, _uag_custom_page_level_css, _uag_js_file_name, _uag_page_assets, _uag_global_style_assets, _uag_global_style_id, _uag_global_styles_css. GPT suggested setting these to Copy in the Translation for custom fields, but I do not see these in the system files.
Symptoms:
Global styles are not carried over when doing translations, causing block errors in translations.
Questions:
How can I fix the issue with the Icon Box and nested Spectra Image blocks not carrying over global styles?
What are the correct Spectra info fields to set to Copy in the Translation for custom fields?
Hi there, I have set up the sandbox now.
However, I was not able to run the automatic translation because of the credits.
Can you please translate the page I created to Spanish and Japanese so that we can see what happens.
The duplication is not making issues as you can see
Thank you for sharing. I was able to reproduce the issue in the testing website. Nonetheless, I noticed that the plugin YoastSEO was activated, and apparently content and settings were imported into the website. Since the idea is to test the issue from scratch, in isolation, that's not really what we wanted. I will try and escalate the ticket to our devs the way it is, let's see how it goes.
