This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wanted to know how to merge content from a separate multilingual site into their main site using WPML.
Solution:
We explained that WPML operates within a single site (database) and does not support merging multiple sites directly. To combine the content, the client needs to manually transfer the content from the secondary site to the main site where WPML is installed.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we encourage you to check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and ensure that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

Hello!

I have solved my problem with the translation of the footer.

One more question.
I currently have 1 website machochic.com with translated version, but I have another site ru.machochic.com and I want to merge them, but I don't know how to do it?

Is it possible to combine through links in your system or do something else?

Best regards,
Alex

Hi there.

WPML can live on only one site (database) so there's no way to merge it.

You would need to take the content from that one and add it to the site.

I hope that you will find this information helpful. 🙂
