This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to see the translated menu in the backend, although it was visible on the frontend of the site.
Solution:
We explained that if the pages or taxonomies included in the menu are translated, the menu should automatically display these items in their translated form on the frontend. The reason the menu was not visible in the backend was that the menu itself had not been directly translated. To resolve this, we advised the client to translate the default menu into Spanish. Once translated, the Spanish version of the menu would become visible and editable in the backend. We provided a guide to assist with translating the menu:
