This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are unable to see and translate the image ALT, Name, and Description from within the WPML advanced editor, despite having addressed this issue previously.
Solution:
This issue arises because the search function in the WPML advanced editor only locates content within the included text, not based on attributes like ALT, Name, or Description of images. To resolve this, we recommend checking our documentation on how to properly configure and use the advanced editor for translating image metadata. Additionally, ensure that you have the latest versions of WPML and other related plugins installed.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please visit our known issues page and verify the version of the permanent fix. If issues persist, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket with us for further assistance. You can do so at our support forum.

Background of the issue:
See and translate the image ALT, Name and Description from within the advanced editor. I went through that a couple of weeks ago, but ALL my recent issues are coming back with a vengeance. See https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unable-to-translate-image-alt-text/

Symptoms:
No image meta texts found

Questions:
How can I fix this permanently?

Actually, the image texts are found at the bottom of the page. The reason, I didn't see them is because I utilized the search box.

See the attached snapshot below.

Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

could you please provide a screenshot of the full entry without using the search feature? I would like to understand why the search did not find it.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Marcel

I just tried on the previous version of the advanced editor, and it yields nothing either.

Hi,

Yes, that's expected. The search function only finds content within the included text, not based on attributes.

Best regards,
Marcel
