This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translating product variations in WooCommerce using WPML. The variations in the translations do not match the original Dutch (NL) variations.
Solution:
First, ensure that the translation process aligns with the official WPML guide for WooCommerce, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#translate-woocommerce-products-product-variations-posts-and-pages. If the guide was followed previously, it might be necessary to remove and re-add the variations to correct the issue. Additionally, using the WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting options may help, but if the problem persists, it might require escalation to second-tier support. In such cases, we might need to take a copy of your site, for which your permission will be required.
The client reported this: We solved this issue by removing and adding the variations.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
