Background of the issue:
I’m trying to use WPML ElasticPress on my site with Avada, but the archive pages stop working when the plugin is enabled. Avada support explained to me that it’s an issue related to WPML, and when I disabled the plugin, the problem was resolved.

Symptoms:
The archive pages are empty when the WPML ElasticPress plugin is enabled.

Questions:
How can I use WPML ElasticPress without it affecting the archive pages?
Is there a solution for the issue related to WPML and Avada?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

I checked the plugins section in the debug info and didn't notice that you use the ElasticPress plugin.

The WPML ElasticPress glue plugin is only required when you use the ElasticPress plugin. Kindly check this guide.

Best regards,
Osama
