This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are using the WPML plugin and it cannot connect to wpml.org. The plugin needs to connect to its server to check for updates and security enhancements, but something in your network or security settings is preventing this.
Solution:
There's a possibility that the issue you're seeing is a false-positive caused by server caching. To verify this, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial and click the "check for updates" button. If the page refreshes and WPML still shows as registered, then it is likely just a false positive. This notification should be removed automatically when the cache clears on its own.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
