I have a blog with Carrie theme. I need to translate only several pages which would not include my blog posts, only some service/portfolio pages that I need to translate into several languages. Can I choose to translate only several pages, including menu tabs?
If I try the first one and it does not quite fit, can I try the second option by paying the difference? Or maybe you have an idea which plan is better for me?

The Carrie theme isn’t appearing on our “themes compatible with WPML” list so I cannot ensure you that you will be able to translates these service/portfolio pages. The theme’s site says it’s compatible WPML so there is a big chance you should be also translate these posts. It hasn’t been tested by our Compatibility Team.
I wish to create a multilingual website in Norwegian and English. as of now I have a website which is mainly in English but I have myself translated several of the posts and pages and are using links to navigate between them (ex. for English press here). Is it possible to use these already translated pages with the WPML plugin and to link them to their english counterparts in the same way as a regular translation done through the plugin? I haven’t been able to find a tutorial video which shows how to include already translated pages after installing the plug-in. I’m just hoping to avoid having to copy and paste all of my already translated material into a new empty page. If you open the menue “Bodywork” on my homepage you will see what I am talking about.

yes, you can use your already existing posts without copy-pasting theme but still some manual work will be required. You will need to assign these posts/pages to a relevant language and indicate which of your original posts this post is translation for.
Please:
1. Install WPML
2. Set it up by choosing the primary language and the secondary language
3. All you posts will become available in the primary language.
4. These that should fall into the secondary language need to be edited manually to be assigned to the secondary language and you need to connect them with relevant posts in your original language.

I’m not sure if I understood your case. You expected to get a refund and you didn’t get the money back or your order was refunded while you didn’t ask for for a refund. Please explain. I’m confused.
What happened here is that you got you transaction refunded automatically at 2CO because it failed the fraud check, which is applied by the payment processor (not us). When this happens the transaction is refunded automatically and the subscription cancelled, as every other refund. So now I know that you did not ask us for a refund.
What we suggest in these cases is that you contact your credit card/bank and let them know that this is a legitimate transaction, they may need to authorize the online transaction before it is processed successfully. Also available is PayPal, or your are also welcome to try with a different card.

yes, WPML supports that. You have diffrent options here: you can just leave these posts/pages without translations and don’t display them in the other language at all, you can display them in the original language.
Ok, but still in documentation I see option only to redirect to main page if language doesn’t have translated page or not to display page at all. What I need is that all pages have all languages in language menu even if translated page doesn’t exist. And if it doesn’t exist it must be displayed in English. Is it possible? The new subscription will let you keep receiving updates and support for life. You do not need to change anything of what you have currently installed and you can just add new sites to your existing account.
Can the translated pages appear on a different subdomain domain? In otherwords, under the same WordPress admin and using the WPML plugin, can I have pages in English at http://www.somedomain.com and pages in Chinese at tw.somedomain.com?

Yes, this is called a language switcher. WPML creates a language switcher automatically based on the languages you have chosen for your site. Then, in WPML settings you decide where exactly it should be added. You can also custom the appearance of the language switcher.

Yes, you can create your site in the testing mode, under one domain (or subdomain or a subfolder) and then move it to another one. The easiest way to do so is to use the Duplicator plugin. Our supporters use this plugin to make a copy of our customers’ sites when debugging some errors. There are a lot of tutorials on the internet explaining how to use this plugin.
