Background of the issue:
I have a webshop in three languages.
Slovenian (original)
Croatian
Spanish
I have all product and categories translated.
I built a theme builder layout for each category, for example, let's look at gaming chairs category.
In slovenian theme builder I can set display conditions in elementor. I can select GAMING STOLI category here, or any of the slovenian category I want.
In croatian translated theme builder I can set display conditions in elementor. I can select GAMING STOLICE croatian category here, or any of the croatian category I want.
which is all ok, but
In spanish translated theme builder I can't set display conditions in elementor. I can't select JUEGO TABLAS which is a spanis translation of gaming category. I can only choose amonug slovenian categories but I need to select spanish ones. hidden link hidden link
The taxonomy hierarchy is already synchronized.
Symptoms:
In the Spanish translated theme builder, I can't set display conditions in Elementor for the Spanish category 'JUEGO TABLAS'. I can only choose among Slovenian categories.
Questions:
Why can't I set display conditions for the Spanish category in Elementor?
How can I select Spanish categories in the theme builder?
Spanish version is tranlsted the same as croatian, but I can set croatian categories in display conditions, but not spanish.
Thank you for reaching out to WPML support. Before your ticket is assigned to a supporter, I’d like to provide some guidance on your query.
Can you make sure the category in Spanish is published and has some products assigned to it, also can you try to create a new category specifically in Spanish and see if it helps.
Further, Could you please go to WPML-> Support ->Troubleshooting and click the below buttons and see if it helps?
+ Clear Cache in WPML
+ Set Language information
+ Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
+ Assign translation status to duplicated content
Let us know if these steps resolve the issue or if you need further assistance.
I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
