This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has created a map with MapPress, which is typically compatible with WPML, and inserted into a page edited with Elementor. When trying to find the text strings to translate following the plugin's instructions, only the system strings appear and not those that the client has entered when creating their map.
Solution:
If you are experiencing this, we recommend that you try the following:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Activate the option "Search for text strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated text strings are displayed.
4. Go back to WPML → String Translation and check if the given string has been registered.
5. Translate the string.

El texto es bastante claro y conciso. Sin embargo, hay un pequeño error tipográfico en la palabra "complaint", que debería ser "compatible", y "wich" que debería ser "which". Aquí tienes una versión corregida del texto:

Hi,

I have created a map with MapPress, which normally is compatible with WPML, that I have inserted in a page edited with Elementor. I followed the plugin instructions to find the strings to translate, but only the system strings appear, not those that I have entered when creating my map. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to access the map strings that I have introduced to translate.

Best regards. I send you an image of the instructions attached.

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Have you attempted to locate the strings in this manner?

1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML >> String Translation and verify if the given string has been registered.
5. Translate the string.

Please inform me of the outcome.

Good morning, thank you for your reply.
I have done what you have indicated. More strings have appeared to translate, but always the system strings, not the text strings that I added when I configured the map.
Besides, my texts are in Spanish and here are shown only English texts to be translated. I have not been able to change the source language.
I would be grateful if you could tell me if it will be possible or not to make the translations in a simple way. I have installed this plug in because it appears as compatible in your recommendations, and I was hoping that it would be easier.
Thanks and best regards

Thank you for providing your feedback. The text you mentioned needs to be translated using WPML String Translation. You have two options: either change the source language of the string to a different language or write the string in English first and then translate it to Spanish. Can you please provide screenshots of where you added the text?

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
