Background of the issue:
I need to show a different logo in the header for translated content on my site using the Astra Theme. Some pages use a transparent logo, which I managed to change via Translate Admin text in [astra-settings]transparent-header-logo. However, I can't find the default logo URL for other pages, like hidden link, in String Translation or Admin Texts Translation. I also tried using Media Translations to upload a different image for the logo, but it didn't work.

Symptoms:
I am unable to locate and change the default logo URL for translated content on some pages.

Questions:
How can I change the default logo for translated content in the Astra Theme?
Why is the Media Translations method not working for changing the logo?

While one of my teammates takes care of your ticket, I will provide you with the first debugging steps.

Have you searched in the Translate texts in admin screens, but for example, for header-logo or by the logo image link?

I did search everything I could think of.

But now I searched once more and realised that numeric value of site_logo is number of media in Medial library (/wp-admin/upload.php?item=2028).

I then found the item nr. of image I wont in english translation, added site_logo to string translation and changed item nr. in translation.

So you can resolve my issue.

Hi there.

I'm happy to jump in and help you get this fixed as soon as possible.

1. Can you please send me the URL or name of the image/media file that you want to use for the other logo?

2. I would like to kindly request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site so that I can thoroughly examine the issue. The necessary fields can be found below the comment area. When you log in to leave your next reply, please be assured that the information you enter is private and will only be visible to you and me.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will thoroughly review various settings in the backend to determine if the issue can be resolved. While I will not make changes that affect the live site, it is still advisable to back up the site before granting us access. Should further debugging be necessary, I will create a duplicate and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid any impact on the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have stringent policies in place regarding privacy and access to your information. For more details, please refer to: https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

IMPORTANT

- Prior to granting us access, please ensure that the site files and database are backed up.

If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, please refrain from posting your website details as they will be made public. Kindly request me to enable the private box if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. You can find the private box by following this link: hidden link

I will await your response.

Please read my November 26, 2024 at 11:34 am reply. I managed to locate string I have to translate, it wasn't link just media item number.
Best regards
Karin
