This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are setting up a multilingual and multicurrency e-shop using WPML and have encountered a message about potential caching issues that might affect currency display for customers.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this, we recommend checking if your current setup with Lightspeed is functioning correctly. If you encounter issues, add the following cookies to your cache exclusion list:

wcml_client_currency

wcml_client_currency_language

wcml_client_country

If this does not resolve the issue, consider also adding WooCommerce pages to the exclusion list. Regarding the setup of language and currency versions, it is your decision whether to place them on separate domains or in folders.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am setting up a multilingual and multicurrency version of our Slovak e-shop on the development URL hidden link using WPML. I have configured the basic setup, defined future languages and currencies, and received a message about potential caching issues.

Symptoms:
Caching may cause currency display issues for customers if using the multicurrency feature. The message suggests setting the cache plugin to not cache pages for visitors with a cookie set in their browser.

Questions:
Could you tell me exactly what to do or set up to make it work correctly?
Which cookies should I exclude from caching?
Is it better to have language/currency versions on separate domains or in folders like veterinol.eu/sk/?

Hello,

I would recommend checking if you have any issues since Lightspeed might work just fine. If not then you can add the following cookies to the cache exclusion list:

wcml_client_currency
wcml_client_currency_language
wcml_client_country

If that is not helping, you might also need to add WC pages to the exclusion.

You can have 2nd language where you wish, it is your decision.

Drazen
