Hello there,

The product categories aren't showing on translations editors and for automatic translations are they are already translated.

If you want to re-translate the same categories using automatic translations, follow the below steps:
- Go to WPML->Settings->Translation Editor
- Go to Taxonomy visibility in the translation editor
- Disable the " Only show taxonomy terms that haven't been translated yet" options
- Add a new product
- Edit the product manually and from the editor, delete, and use automatic translations.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Hey there,

thank you for instruction, however I don't get the last point: "Edit the product manually and from the editor, delete, and use automatic translations."

What do you mean with the "delete"? How do I delete translation from the product editor?

Hello there,

Please check the screenshot for instructions, you can select the existing translations and delete them and do the automatic translations.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

I'm sorry, but I still don't understand the last two points of the instructions.

Should I add a new product and then go to ATE, or are those the two ways to proceed?

Either add a new product and have it translated automatically, or use the above procedure with ATE on an existing product?

And regarding the ATE procedure, do I just delete one string and then run automatic translation?

Hello there,

Yes, create a new product and add that category and send it to translations, the text will not be automatically translated at first, so you will need to manually edit the translations and override the previous translations with automatic translations.

Yes, just use the icon I shown in the screenshot and it will apply automatic translations for that strings only.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks

It is workaround for now, but I hope you will implement better workflow for updating already translated categories on update in source language.
