This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where listings are not displayed on the translated version of their website after entering a keyword and pressing the enter button. The URL appears to be malformed with redundant parameters causing the problem.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have a backup of your site.
2. Update WPML to the latest version, WPML 4.6.11, from the Plugins >> Add New page. Click the Commercial tab and then the “Check for updates” button.
3. Verify that you are using the latest versions of your theme and other plugins.
4. Enable the "Store a language cookie to support language filtering for AJAX" option from WPML >> Languages page.
5. Visit WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting page and perform the following actions:
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Synchronize posts taxonomies
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
- Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Fix post type assignment for translations
- Set language information
6. If the problem persists, deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons, switch to the parent theme, and then reactivate each plugin one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.

This solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
