Hi,

Thank you for addressing this support issue and splitting it into separate tickets.

In this ticket, I’d like to focus specifically on Issue 1, which is nearly resolved but still presents a specific bug.

Additionally, I discuss the Elementor template translation issue f, which is being addressed in the other ticket.

Category and Attribute Translation Bug (Primary Issue for This Ticket)
- For the category labeled 'vaste doelen', the translation does not save despite clicking the “Save” button.

- Similarly, for the attribute 'wit', entering the translation and clicking “Save” results in the text disappearing, and nothing is saved.

In WooCommerce > Multilingual > Category (& Attributes)

Could you please investigate and provide guidance on the following:
- Why translations for specific categories and attributes (like ‘vaste doelen’ and ‘wit’) fail to save and how this can be resolved?
- If there are any known compatibility issues or required updates/settings adjustments to resolve this?

I’ve attached screenshots for your reference to better illustrate the affected fields.

Hello There!
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you’re experiencing. It’s quite unusual that other terms in the same language can be translated without any problems, but this issue occurs with one specific category and attribute. Could you please try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue?

- Go to WooCommerce > Products > Categories.
- Locate the category you’re having trouble translating and click the 'Quick Edit' link below the category name.
- Change the slug for that category.
- Navigate to Settings > Permalinks.
- Resave the permalink structure.
- After completing these steps, try translating the category again by going to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Categories tab.

If this resolves the issue, you can follow a similar process for the attributes.

But, if the issue persists, it might be caused by a script conflict. Could you open the hidden link).&text=where%20is%20either%20a%20variable%20or%20a%20function.">browser console after clicking save and check for any errors? If you find any, please take a screenshot and share it in your next response so I can better understand the issue and assist you further in this matter.

Let me know the update. I'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
