Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the string 'Request A Demo' using WPML. I attempted this as both a translator and an administrator but was not authorized to open the translator. I have cancelled all jobs in the queue and tried resetting all troubleshooting options. The issue can be seen here: hidden link

Symptoms:
The string translation is locked to 'waiting a translator'. I expected to see the plus button or the pencil to edit the string, but instead, I got 'Waiting a translator'.

Questions:
Why am I not authorized to open the translator as a translator or administrator?
How can I unlock the string translation from 'waiting a translator'?
What steps should I take to reset the translation process effectively?

Hi,

I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.

Please try the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> String Translation
2- Search for the problematic string
3- Delete it
4- Go to WPML-> Themes and Plugins Localization
5- Scan the theme/plugin that contains this string
6- Go to WPML-> String Translation
7- Translate the string

Best regards,
Osama
