Tell us what you are trying to do?

I changed the logo on the homepage. It must be with a circle. This is correct on the Ducth homepage but not in the other languages.

In the other languages there is no logo with circle.

hidden link. (Dutch homepage)
hidden link (English homepage)

How can I solve this?

Thx

Michel

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. The logo is usually added from Customizer/theme options and you should be able to translate it by following the below steps:

1. Go to WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Scroll down and click on the Translate texts in admin screens » link at the bottom of the page.
3. Search for the logo image URL/ID
4. Select the string.
5. Click on the Add to String Translation button.
6. Then click on "« Return to String Translation" link
7. Add the translated logo URL/ID as translation, you may get the logo ID from Media >> Library by selecting the image.

Here is a doc for more details about translating texts in admin screens: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance with this issue.

Thank you

Hi Noman,

I am still learing WPML 😉 it is a very good plugin if everything is configured well.
I also have a problem in deleting a language. In the setup of WPML I made a mistake in choosing the wrong Spanisch language (Catalan vs Castilian). The dominant language is Castillian and I choose Catalan. I tried to delete this language, but Ie doesn't work. If I click delete, the circle indicating it is deleting keeps on turning an turning.

How can I solve this, so I can install again the correct Spanisch language Castillian.

Thx for your answer.

Michel

For deleting a language issue, it’s a different issue and will be handled separately as per our support policy. I've created new ticket for this at: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/i-have-a-problem-in-deleting-a-language/

If your logo translation issue is solved, please mark this current ticket as resolved and we will continue to work on the new ticket.

Thank you for your cooperation
