Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the translation of my articles to reflect on the destination language page. I have completed the translations to 100% and marked them as complete.

Symptoms:
The translations appear as 'pending' and do not update on the destination language page despite being marked as complete.

Questions:
Why are my completed translations still showing as pending?
How can I ensure that the translations update correctly on the destination page?

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

Please test these following steps on one page where you are seeing this isuse to test if it resolves it:

1. Go to WPML -> Translation Management -> Translation Jobs and cancel the in progress job. If there is no in progress job, continue to the next steps.
2. Edit the default page. Make any small change and update the page.
3. Go to WPML -> Translation Management and send this page to the translation basket. Tick the checkbox, scroll down and click translate, then you will see the translation basket tab.
4. Click the translation basket and send the page to yourself as a translator.
5. Go to WPML -> Translations and take and translate the page. Save the translation 100% and then let's see if the correct content shows.

Please let us know the results and if this resolves the issue. Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for your detailed instructions. I have carefully followed the steps provided, but unfortunately, the issue persists.

I also conducted a test on a staging site, and the issue does not occur there.

Additionally, I would like to clarify that my hosting provider is using MariaDB 10.6.20, not MySQL 5.5.5, as stated in the debug information file.

Let me know if you require additional details.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best regards. D

Hi again,
the hosting provider reset the database, and I am happy to report that the issue has now been resolved.

Best regards,
