This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing an issue where both the translated and default language versions of a product are displayed on the single product page when WPML is deactivated. This issue resolves when WPML is reactivated.
Solution:
If you are not planning to continue using WPML on your website, we recommend deleting the product translation to resolve the issue. Here are the steps you should follow:
1. Activate WPML.
2. Delete the product translation.
3. Deactivate WPML.
4. Check the single product page to see if the issue is resolved.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I was trying to find out why the backend of my website is slow. I deactivated WPML and its extension to troubleshoot, and then I noticed an issue on my website's single product page. Both the translated and default language versions of the product are showing one after another. This issue resolves itself when I activate WPML again. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Both translated and default language products are displayed on the single product page when WPML is deactivated. The issue resolves when WPML is activated.

Questions:
Why does deactivating WPML cause both language versions to display on the product page?
How can I fix this issue without keeping WPML activated?

While one of my teammates reviews your ticket, I would like to provide you with some initial debugging steps.

Does this issue persist when you temporarily switch to a default theme? Have you used any other plugins similar to WPML?

I have also enabled debugging information for this support ticket. Please follow this link for instructions on how to retrieve this information from your site and share it with us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.

Thank you for your feedback.

If you are not planning to continue using WPML on this website, I believe that deleting the product will resolve the issue.

Have you tried the following steps?

- Activate WPML and delete the product translation.
- Deactivate WPML and check the single product page.
