Background of the issue:
I am trying to update some of the texts that we are using, and WPML is not showing translations of the updated text. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
WPML is displaying old texts in the translation editor instead of the updated text. In the ingredients section below the product, the Dutch translation has the updated text, but the rest do not show anything.

Questions:
Why is WPML not showing the updated text in translations?
How can I ensure the updated text is reflected in all translations?

While one of my teammates addresses your ticket, I'll provide you with some initial debugging steps.

Please make a small modification to the original product, save it, and then navigate to the WPML translation editor to complete the translation.

If you continue to experience the issue, please show us the process you are using to update the product and its translation.

Thanks for the reply,

The problem occurs currently with HTML blocks. I am using a html block to show the ingredients of my product. If i edit the block only the original language get changed.

I've made a small edit to the html block but this doesnt change anything for the translations.

If i go to the html block section and check translations of the "new" block it shows the correct translations. The translated html block just doesnt show up on the product page.

Kind regards,
Robin

Hi Robin,

I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I purged the SG Cache. After that, I made a minor edit to the product and updated the English translation to check the translation editor, which didn't show the removed custom tab content. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)

Please update the translation of the other languages and check the editor.

Best regards,
Osama
