[Waiting for user feedback] Animated Service Box – from The Plus no longer appears in String Translation Menu

The string of any Elementor Widget should be available inside the WPML Translation Editor and should not get translated directly on WPML > String Translation.

Can you translate the "Animated Service Box" widget if you translate the content with the WPML Translation Editor?

What is displayed on the screenshot is the WPML String Translation which is used to translate string coming from WooCommerce, Theme or Plugins.

The WPML Translation Editor is the interface used to translate the title, content, custom fields, etc. of your pages and posts.

May I offer to take a closer look into this issue as admin user?

I can see that the authors of the addon have already contacted us and are asking to make their addon fully compatible with WPML. After all, it is the authors responsiblity to achieve this compatiblity and we provide our guidance on this matter.

On my test site not any of the widgets from The Plus Addons for Elementor is getting translated, unless I create a custom XML config.

For the Animated Services Widget you will need this config:

Usually, the addon should come with a wpml-config.xml file that includes such configs for all its widgets.

You can also create the confiog yourself and save it a WPML > Settings > Custom XML Config.

After that, edit the widget on a original content, save the page and open the WPML Translation Editor. You should see the strings now.
