This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with blank fields in the Advanced Translation Editor preventing you from finalizing the translation, we recommend following these steps to resolve the problem.

Solution:
1) Ensure you take a full backup of your site and database before making any changes.
2) Deactivate all plugins except for WPML to check if there is a conflict causing the issue.
3) Delete the existing translation of the problematic page or post. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-delete-the-translation-of-a-page/.
4) Make changes to the content in the default language, save, and then update the translation.
5) Check if the issue still occurs.

If these steps do not resolve your issue or if they seem outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the Advanced Translation Editor in WPML. There are fields with no content on the English side, preventing the tracker from reaching 100% and finalizing the translation. Additionally, I have issues with media translation, menus, and custom headers and footers. Link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
1. Blank translation fields are blocking finalization. 2. Translated media does not display correctly on the translated site. 3. Deleted media still appears in the Media Translation section. 4. Unable to translate menus and custom headers and footers. 5. French logos are showing as their English versions in the Des partenaires à votre service section.

Questions:
How can I finalize the translation when there are blank fields in the Advanced Translation Editor?
Why is translated media not displaying correctly on the translated site?
How can I remove deleted media from the Media Translation section?
How can I translate custom headers and footers?
Why are menu items still showing in English when they have already been translated in the menu section and in String Translation?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

I'll proceed with the following problem in this ticket:

1. Blank translation fields are blocking finalization.

For the other question/issue, I recommend opening a separate ticket/chat because as per forum policy we can only handle one issue per ticket/chat. So you can get more to the point help, without mixing up several issues in one long ticket.

Before proceeding further with the issue #1, can you please try the following?

1) Take a full backup of your site and database before proceeding.
2) Deactivate all plugins except WPML.
3) Delete the existing translation of the said page or post (see https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-delete-the-translation-of-a-page/ for details).
4) Make changes to the content in default language, save and update the translation.
5) Check for the issue if it still happens.

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.

I figured out on my own to revert to the previous version of the Translation editor, which solved the problem.
