Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my site to Arabic using WPML and Elementor. The site I need help with is hidden link.

Symptoms:
Elementor keeps loading forever on the left panel when I try to edit pages and translate manually, but it works fine in the default language.

Questions:
how to solve this issue?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned.

Please increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256*(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Then clear all types of caches and check whether the bug exists or not.

Refer to the following links for more details.

Hello,

1) Please make sure that on the original Post/Page inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor, the translation method is set to "WordPress Editor". Now test again.

2) If this does not solve the issue, there might be a conflict between WPML and another plugin or the theme you are using.

Try running the site with minimal setup to see if the issue persists:

1) Disable any additional plugins apart from Elementor, WPML, and WPML String Translation. Now test again.

2) If the issue goes away, start by reactivating the plugins one at a time, or activate them in small groups. This way, check where the issue reoccurs to see the plugin that is causing the issue.

3) If this has not resolved the cause of the issue, please switch to a standard theme such as Twenty Twenty-One to see if the issue may be related to the theme.

Once we have identified the cause, we can then try replicating the issue and then escalate it internally. In this case, I will provide a test site with WPML.

Best regards
Andreas

I found the plugin causing this but I faced two other issues :
1) my shortcode section that displays products based on their tag doesn't work properly
2)I can't translate the checkout page and when I try to access it in Arabic version it gives me 404

Hello,

Your shortcode filters by tag.

If the tag is translated you will need to change the shortcode in the second language directly in Elementor.

For the checkout page, please verify that the translated checkout page is published and that it contains the WooCommerce checkout shortcode.

Best regards
Andreas
