Hi there
Our live site is at hidden link I believe the language selector is shown depending on the language settings within the users browser.

Is there a more definite way to choose which language selector people are shown. We are getting reports of web visitors in the US being shown the UK version and vice versa. Perhaps there are additional plugins or services we can use to help make sure people in those regions always get to see the right Geolocation to them?
Thanks
Neil

Hello Neil,

I am afraid that is somehow expected as browser redirection works as per the browser language set. I could imagine people in the US have set the UK language and vice versa, which could cause issues.

I would also note an issue that can cause with the Google index: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/

As for other solutions, you can check the next advised plugins that might help for your usage case:

Hope it helps, let us know how it goes.

Drazen
