Hi Sophia, Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will be happy to help you. From the image you sent I notice a small orange bar almost at the end of the progress bar, can you please check were that orange is as there might be some HTML marker not being applied on one of the translation texts (it might be some italic/bold being applied on the default language in some text somewhere that might be preventing the translation to complete). Please check this link for more detailed information: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/#html-markers If you can't locate it, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Our Debugging Procedures I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site. Privacy and Security Policy We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see: **IMPORTANT** - Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access. Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day. |

Hello there, While that page you shared has German text, it is marked as an English page, the best option here would be for you to change the page to German and add an English translation, please let me know if you want to do it and if you need some help changing the language of the page. Regarding the issues you reported, I checked it and it looks like that page had a status 'waiting for translator', this was causing the translation to be redirected to the Translation Management screen. To fix it I re-sent it for translation by going to WPML -> Translation Management. I searched for that page and sent it for translation. Now when I edit the translation, I'm sent to the Advanced Translation Editor, and it was showing 99% completed in the progress bar. I found two segments that needed translation, after adding it, the progress bar reached 100%, please check the screenshots for reference. Regarding the page redirecting to the English version, I went to WPML -> Settings -> Page URL and changed from Auto-generate from title to Translate. After that, I edited the translation and translated the slug from datenschutzerklarung to datenschutzerklarung-de. By adding a different slug to the German page, I was able to browse it. Can you please check it and test if it is working as expected now? Thank you, |

The default language is English and translations are in German. This page happens to be in German for both, but I'd like to keep the same order. So the English page is in German and I want to just duplicate it for German. I tried to do what you suggested on the production site and I was able to see the ATE after sending the page to translation, but it shows as 100% translated and doesn't give me the option to translate any further. On the front end, it still shows the DE button but clicking it keeps me on the EN site. Is there a way to get the page to show the DE page (so that navigating from there will continue in DE) but still have the pages language just be a duplicate? Even though the EN and DE are identical, I want one page to show on the EN site and one on the DE site. How can I accomplish this? |

Hello there, In this case, while you could translate the page and copy all the fields manually within the Advanced Translation Editor, the best option would be for you to simply duplicate the page using WPML built-in feature as described here: I tried to do it in the staging site and for some reasons the ACF Pro 'blocks' custom fields doesn't get copied to the German page, it creates an empty block. I need to replicate this issue to a sandbox with a fresh copy of WordPress and WPML to see if it could be a conflict or eventually a compatibility issue. Can you please login to the sandbox using this link and just install ACF pro? hidden link Once you do that, I'll take over and continue my tests. Thank you, please let us know. |
