I am trying to get my old site working again. I expected to see hidden link, but in French. The issue can be seen at hidden link.

Symptoms:
Images are not showing up on the translated home page.

Questions:
Why are images not showing up on the translated home page?
How can I fix the issue with images not displaying on the translated page?

I had the exact same problem in April. See https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translated-pages-not-showing-images/

Why can't I be warned of issues without letting Google think I'm out of business? I have being working on staging for more than a year. I do not have time to check my old production site every single day.

Thanks for reaching us.

I've checked your Website and I can see the missing image that you mentioned on the French homepage as shown in the attached screenshot. Did you sort it out yourself?

No, I did not. I simply did what I had done months ago. I made a small change on the original page, and retranslated. But, this proved to be a temporary fix, I'm afraid. And there is no warning when it does happen again.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I'm unable to investigate further without being able to view the issue on your website. Please inform us if the problem recurs, and I'll gladly take another look to determine the cause.

So, I would have to check this EVERY day then. Not fun! Thanks anyhow.

Thank you for your response. I'm not sure why this issue occurred unless there was an update to a third-party plugin or a modification to the page. Please disable the Speed Optimizer and let's review the situation in a week. If the problem doesn't recur, you can then reactivate the Speed Optimizer plugin.

I do not use Elementor or Speed Optimizer on that site.

Thanks for your response.

I see that the plugin name "Speed Optimizer" appears in your debug information. Please try temporarily disabling any cache plugins to see if the issue persists. If the problem occurs again, let me know, and we'll investigate it together. Please avoid fixing the issue on your own if possible, as I need to inspect the error when it occurs.

I'm sorry, Speed Optimizer is indeed there, part of the hosting server. My mistake. I just deactivated it.

Alright, let's review the situation in a couple of days. If everything works well, you can reactivate the plugin. We'll then monitor it for another week. If no issues arise, we can close this ticket.
