Hello, I was doing the string scanning for strings in the plugins, but at around 18000 strings it just wouldn't progress anymore, but the cirkle was still turning. I waited for 20 minutes but it just wouldn't find more strings at all. I thought maybe this was something like a caching issue so I refreshed the page (I know I shouldn't but nothing was happening for 20 minutes). I then ran the process again but after 26000 strings it wouldn't find anymore. I waited again for 20 minutes before I decided to refresh the page again. I tried a final time but at around 20000 strings the same issues. I waited again for 20 minutes before finally calling it quits. Can you please help me out to finally get this proces done with? On the page it now does show strings that need translation but the question is if this are all the strings or if there are more. |

Hello, Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue. To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ Which plugins/theme strings you are trying to scan now? It will be great if you can share a couple of screenshots for a better understanding. -- Bigul |

Please check the following article for more details and contact your system admin/hosting provider for upgrading this configuration. hidden link Please scan the plugin strings as a batch of 3 or 4 and check whether the issue is existing or not. Hello, Thank you for the details. The aborted earlier scans will not make conflict in WPML String Translations and also it will not increase the number of strings. The new scans will always refresh the existing ones. Please check it and let us know your feedback. -- Bigul |
