This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to use custom translations for the 'utsolgt' string in WooCommerce using WPML String Translation. Despite saving the translations, the default WooCommerce translations were being used instead. This issue arose after updating WooCommerce and WPML to the latest versions.
Solution:
We advised the client to ensure that all plugins were updated and to flush any existing cache. We also recommended creating a full site backup before proceeding with these steps. Additionally, we suggested following the steps in our guide to find and translate strings that do not appear on the String Translation page. You can find the guide here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
