Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a post, but the translation is not created correctly. When I try to view the translated post, WP responds with a 'not found'. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translation is not displaying correctly. Instead of the translated post, I get a 'not found' error. The translation is created based on the original, in Spanish.

Questions:
Why is the translated post not displaying correctly?
How can I fix the 'not found' error when viewing the translated post?

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please make sure that the translated post is published, not a draft. you can check it using the following steps:

1- Go to posts-> All Posts
2- Switch the language using the top admin bar
3- Make sure that the translated post status is Published

Thanks for your reply. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
