Background of the issue:
I am trying to optimize our website for speed using various plugins, but it still lacks speed when loading for the first time. The issue is particularly noticeable when switching from the USA to the UK or Australia. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
The website takes a long time to load when switching from the USA to the UK or Australia, and sometimes it doesn't load at all.

Questions:
Why does the website take a long time to load when switching regions?
How can I improve the loading speed when switching from the USA to the UK or Australia?

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

The problem might be related to slowness caused by incompatibilities between WPML and another plugin or theme code. Please follow these steps and share your results with me:

Important: Make sure to create a backup before proceeding.

1. Install the Query Monitor plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/.
2. Check the load time (denoted as "s") and the number of queries (denoted as "Q") displayed in the top bar.
3. Disable all WPML plugins, then check the load time and query count again.
4. Deactivate all other plugins, keeping only the WPML plugins active, and switch to a default WordPress theme. Check the load time and query count once more.

Please share your findings here. For more details, you can refer to the WPML documentation: Analyze Performance Issues with Query Monitor https://wpml.org/tutorials/2019/10/analyze-performance-issues-with-query-monitor/ .
