Our wait time is higher than usual, please make sure you are meeting the minimum requirement - https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements before you report issues, and if you can take a look at current Known Issues - https://wpml.org/known-issues/. Thank you.
Thank you Otto, it seems there is a bug in ACPT and I will report it to the author, after your suggestion, enabling and disabling hiearachial option, everything works, so as you said, default is off but not explicitly set. I will report this so thank you!
Word count happens only on Bricks pages where all of the content is entered inside Bricks builder so the Gutenberg side is empty, custom post types like News is counted correctly (probably because everything is entered inside Gutenberg)..
To be able to investigate the problem, we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below: hidden link
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Don't restore your site there.
- Install Bricks
- Try to replicate the issue with minimal steps: create a page as the ones with the wrong word count in your site.
- Then let me know, and we will take a look.
Hello, I have installed Bricks, made a page, copy pasted the content from my site, and I only see two words to translate in Translation Management (Test page)...
Let me know if any other action is needed from my side, thanks.
The word count is wrong, but if I translate the page, all the content is there available to be translated (check the screenshot attached). It is the same on your site, right?
Once you confirm, I'll escalate the issue to our compatibility team.
