Background of the issue:
I have set up the option in the path WPML > LANGUAGES > Language switching options > Link to the language home page for missing translations. I am trying to redirect users to the English home page when they switch from a Greek-only page.

Symptoms:
When I click on the language switch flag to English from the header on a Greek-only page, it redirects me back to the same Greek page with the English prefix added to the URL.

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you on this issue.

Can you provide me url to the page where I can see this issue?

Further, We've recently rolled out a new version of WPML plugins. Could you please update your plugins to the latest version and inform me if it resolves the issue?

Our WPML updates are distributed gradually. If your websites haven't received this update yet, please be patient, and you should see it within a few days.

If you want to expedite the process and receive the update immediately, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Plugins → Add New Plugin.
2. Click on the Commercial tab.
3. Then, click the "Check for updates" button.

Please remember to create a backup before updating, as a precaution.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Good evening, I am running the latest versions of WPML and I was facing this problem. When I opened the support request I had uploaded a file that showed all the versions I am using in plugins and cms, did you see this information? I had also included our website. If you have any information that can help us, I would be grateful.

Hello there,

Yes, I have checked it, it showed 4.6.14 while the latest is 4.6.15 so I asked to update.

Can you provide me url to the Greek-only page where I can see this issue?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

Sure, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
